WHO WE ARE 

The City of Portales Emergency Management works to with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure the protection of life and property by providing coordination, guidance, support and assistance. Emergency Management manages disaster preparedness, mitigation, and response and recovery efforts throughout the state by coordinating with all responsible government agencies.

Recover through a focus on the timely restoration, strengthening and revitalization of infrastructure, housing and a sustainable economy, as well as the health, social, cultural, historic and environmental fabric of communities affected by a catastrophic incident.
