TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

Stakeholders in the emergency management process are encouraged and/or mandated to train to stay current with proper practices and procedures to best ensure safety and productive outcomes.

The basic level of training is to understand the National Incident Management System (NIMS). NIMS  provides a structured and scalable system of dealing with incident response and recovery.
